Admin and Human Resource Department-utawala
Arusha District council comprises of 15 department each of which perform different activities and fuctions.Basically the Department of Administration and personnel management have a wide range of responsibilities to ensure essential/crucial services are provided to the employees and the citizen as well. The department activities are divided into the following section:-
1.Administration including WEOs and VEOs
2.Human Resources Management including training Recruitment
On the provision of the service require the department to perform the following roles and functions
•To advise Council Director about all issues on matters of servantation and administration of the council and all the related to human resources
•To deal with employement,good division and stable correlation of civil servants.
•To propose confirmation/certification of staffs in the job and promotionof civil servant/staff
•To deal with enumeration,grievance of civil servants who are dismissed,retired and redundact/Terminated
•To construct personal emoluments budget(PE)
•To supervise committee secretariat and services of office management together with arrangement and to ensure availability of tools in work place
•To interpreted law, principles, formation/structure/model and HRs documents
•To supervise and guarantee safely of office building.
•To deal with issues concerning parties and trade union of civil servant
•To deal with all issues concerning ceremonies protecally.
